A chance for dads of any stripe (married, single, divorced, stay-at-home, etc.) to get together, swap tall tales, have a chili cookoff at the park...anything, I guess. If another group already exists for the greater Sacramento region (from Auburn on over to West Sacramento), please let me know.
I am a part-time stay-at-home dad (Thursdays and Fridays). It seems to me that getting together 1-2 times per month at a park or playground or library shouldn't be too hard.
Unfortunately, on the group directory, I see a lot of groups that only consist of one member. Perhaps that will be the fate of D.I.G.S. It'll be a playgroup of just me and my kids. Perhaps I can get my wife to join.
