I was just going through the Fall Park District offerings, thought you might be interested. Online Reg is Monday the 14th, at 9 AM. We've only done this once, but have seen that the programs usually fill up in about 5 minutes. Best part about Park District, CHEAP. Zoe did three camps this summer, for a total of about $125.
There are several Mom, Pop, Toddler interaction classes at kids 12 mo. to about 4-5. They are at different parks all over the city. We also found a ballet class at Lincoln Park Cultural Center for 2-3 yrs. We're going to try to get Zoe in that, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
My wife had looked at these before and didn't see that much. I took the other approach, and am looking through all 1030 programs for pre-schoolers.
Happy scheduling.

Re: Park District Fall classes
Thanks for the info, Allyn. Maybe we'll try the dance class with Zoe.
We did a parents-tots music class at Wicker Park Fieldhouse on Monday mornings. They have a 10am class for 1 & 2 year-olds and an 11am class for 3 & up. It was a lot cheaper than Old Town's Wiggleworms, although there are no makeup classes.
Not sure if you can sign up online. I registered through Steckman Studios, which is the school that provides the teacher for the class. Call the Wicker Park Fieldhouse for more info.

Re: Park District Fall classes
So, how did it go today for everyone? I ended up with my 3rd choice for Amanda. You had to be lightning quick...the first two choices filled up literally one second after 9AM. I had everything queued up to go on my DSL connection as soon as the clock ticked down and still only got the last remaining slot for my third choice. So gymnastics at Peterson Park it will be for us.

Re: Park District Fall classes
DOH! Missed out due to sleep-deprivation and a general lack of organization. Anyone get in a swim class at Welles or Eckhart?
