Hey Durham-CH dads - I moved to Carrboro a few months ago from Chicago and am looking to find/start a weekly playgroup. The Chicago group on this site is very active and I had a lot of fun going to parks and museums with those guys last year. I'm sure there are plenty of at-home dads around here but there just doesn't seem to be the same organization. I go to Wilson and Henry Anderson Parks in Carrboro a few times a week and would be happy to create an event for that if people would be into meeting up on a specific day/time each week. There's also the Weaver Street lawn and the Museum of Life and Science as ideas. So if anyone out there sees this and feels like getting together weekly, leave a comment and hopefully we can get something started now that we're going to have nice Fall weather!

I never got a response from the guy I messaged a few months back. Sorry I just read your message now. I never received a notification that a new response posted. I recently joined this meetup group. It looks like there aren't any meetups in the Carrboro area, only in Apex/Cary/Morrisville.
I just made a new meetup suggestion today to start a playgroup & Dad's night out here. I was thinking of meeting at Weaver St for lunch?
I don't have a car during the day, so I can really only go places within a 20-30 minute walk of town.
