What's on tonight?

What do you watch when you do get to watch TV? I'm not talking about the things you endure for the kids, I'm talking about the things you TiVo, DVR, or watch after the little ones are asleep.

I watch too much TV, but most of it gets DVRed so I can watch in at my leisure. And to keep things more relevant, let's keep it to shows that are currently on. (Or would be if not for the strike.)

I put on my silk jammies; twist open a wine cooler; slip in my ipod earphones for a date with Air Supply and Nsync; and watch Hallmark, W or HGTV with the sound muted.

The only show that I watch now when it originally airs...

...is LOST. Most other shows pale in comparison to this one, and I am WAY over watching reality shows. Oh, and I don't have cable or satellite, so that REALLY thins out the list. Everything else I either watch on DVD or through Netflix On-Demand. Let's just say that my queue is overflowing...

Generally...

I'm not much of a TV person for the most part, there's no shows I drop what I'm doing to sit down and watch, well... almost no shows. Lately I've become addicted to Breaking Bad on AMC in fact it's on again tonight at 7 and I will be dropping what I'm doing to watch it. This is episode 3 and I really hope they keep the show running, it's a very neat concept, and Vince Gilligan does an excellent job of directing it. That being said, when it comes time to actually haul my ass out of a digital based world and enjoy some non-interactive entertainment; I like the following:

Mythbusters (agreed, downhill, but was it ever "really" uphill?)
Survivor Man (glad to see there's another fan out there, now maybe they'll give him a budget)
Extreme Makeover - Home Edition (this show makes me cry, not tears of joy, tears of jealousy as I look around our 1 bedroom apartment. )
Sarah Silverman
John Dore (who wishes he was Sarah)
Daily Show - John Stewart
Colbert Report

A few that you guys mentioned I've watched and don't mind, but I can't really go over them all, like I say it's rare that I watch TV.

Every time someone responds, I remember a show I left off the list. I love Breaking Bad. It's just incredible. I really wish it was completely unedited though. Leave all the "fucks" and bobbies in there.

I second that

It's on late enough at night (ok, there's the 7pm version, but then it's on again at 10pm) now no ones kids that should be censored are up that late... right? Considering the content of the show so far, I would assume that if you're worried about your kids hearing the word fuck, you probably shouldn't be letting them watch the show.

Kick ass performance by that guy from Malcom in the Middle who's name I am too lazy to look up right now!
