I know there are a couple dads in the Sioux City area. Unfortunately, I didn't save their contacts since they didn't want to travel to Omaha for a group. They're out there, hope you can find them.

Start a group

If you'd like to advertise your interest in starting a group, perhaps you'd be able to connect with other local dad who come to this site.

Write a few sentences about what you have in mind ("Dad in the ... area would like to meet other at-home dads and start a playgroup.... blah blah... email me at ...." etc) and follow the instructions here:

Des Moines Dad

One of the members of our group in Kansas City is actually in Des Moines. He is a registered member here, but just had a baby so probably is a bit busy. I'll forward you his info. if you email me. Also a former member of our group moved to Sioux Falls, SD about 2 years ago, I can send you his info. too.

By the way, where in Iowa are ya? My wife's family is from the Harlan, IA area which is more Western Iowa, but is that close?

What?! Orange City?!

Did you really say Orange City?  Wow!  Although I'm not from there, my in-laws are so I usually end up out there once or twice a year!  I'm honestly surprised that there would be a S.A.H.D. out there; glad to hear it, but still surprised!
