I just want everyone to know that I've set up our first official playgroup of the year for this Friday at Newport Aquarium at 10:30am. I noticed a lot of new people signed up for the Cincinnati playgroup, so maybe we can kickstart this thing.
I encourage all of you to visit athomedad.org and to leave a comment in our group's latest post just to introduce yourself and to RSVP.
Also, check the link in our Group Description; some of us meet through meetup.com on Thursdays with both Moms and Dads. But, this Friday is just Dads if you can make it. No chicks allowed (except for your wives if they happen to be home).

I don't watch baseball regularly, but I think it's fun to go to a game. Randy's my only Cincy member, though, so he kind of ruins the curve for this being an official Dad-outing.

hey - just found this group and thought I'd join & drop an introduction!
I'm Casey - a stay at home dad for a 4 mo old boy, which is awesome. My wife had 12 weeks maternity leave, so I've only been doing this for a couple months... But everything is going well, I'm totally getting the hang of it. )
Looking forward to hanging out some time.. I'll check in and hopefully meet up with you guys soon?

Hey guys. My name is Joe. Just put in my two weeks at work today, so I hope to get together with you soon. My daughter Anna will be three in October, and my son Joey was born in July. We have season passes to the zoo and the museum center and a double stroller so we're ready to roll. Wifey goes back to work from maternity leave middle of October, so we'll be looking for some friends and some things to do. First stab at being a SAHD so wish me luck.

Hi all. My name is Tony, I have a 12 year old, who does not live with me any longer, and a four month old, who is with me all the time. I live on the East side of town, and have been staying at home with my new son since my woman went back to work. I love having the bulk of the influence over my son, I think he already thinks like me.
