This made me laugh (and cringe, since I'm guilty of it).

Would we be on the moon without imagination?

I don't know, what with sentences like "Although no cure has yet been developed for childhood imagination, preventative measures can deter children from potentially hazardous bouts of make-believe."

Just who is the judge here, and for what household?

It kind of makes me wonder, wasn't having a good imagination promoted when we were that age?
Why would we want to cure childhood imagination? Would we be on the moon without imagination, would we have monster trucks without imagination and what about the creation and making of Shreck? OK, maybe scratch Shreck but you get the idea, what about the WWW?
There is a thing as responsible parenting, what are the stuffed shirts trying to do, take the fun out of being kid? We all survived, maybe barely at times but we're here. This article is full of don'ts with no hard data to back it up, oh shit, I may die because I imagined while scribing this, oh no!
Doesn't critical thinking involve imagination?

But only when they are free of skid marks. Haa!
It's a tough crowd of dads here, but hey, I was expecting it.
