Thank you for stating the less than obvious. Of course it's a good thing. It's like that dumb commercial where the accountant or whoever is complaining about business picking up too much and getting out of control. Then the owner says, "But, that's a good thing, right?" The speed of the site has definitely increased. I've got to check in a few more times a day just to keep up with the new posts.

Traffic was about double the
Traffic was about double the normal yesterday, with an increase from RebelDad.com and also from google searching. So, yeah, I'd say that the Today show is a big part of yesterday.
Today show visitors...welcome.
There's also a steady trend upward from a sort of snowball effect (or JP's quick wit). The pace should be about 10,000 new posts per day by the end of the month. :-)
