Hi all --

Tim here, a work-at-home dad for just over three years now to my rambunctious and energetic one-and-only, my son Branwynn.

In addition to the work-at-home, full-time fatherhood thing, I'm also an adoptive father. We met our son when he was about five-and-a-half months old, and while most folks get nine month's notice that one's "on the way," the California foster-adoptive bureaucracy gave us all of three weeks. With such short notice, it made sense for me to chuck it all while my wife's career -- and it's accompanying benefits -- continued. Been doing it ever since, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I blog about many of those "dadhood adventures" under my online name at http://freeformfresno.blogspot.com. I'm also an occasional podcaster, with those shows available at http://www.freethoughtfresno.com.

Glad to be aboard! tws

From one Kalifornian to another

Welcome!! I'm up in Lodi, and hang with a few from Stockton/Woodbridge area.

Good to know we have more at-home dads who wont have to travel far to Sacramento for this year's At-Home Dad Convention.

See ya around
