How do they treat you on a cold morning and how do they treat Hollis (great smile by the way)? Learning to walk must have been/or will be pretty exciting with the loud crashes and the last minute toddler change of directions! Had to remove markers yet? None the less, nice floors, someday I am going that route in the kitchen.
Our maple floors are pretty cold in the Chicago winter, as the basement is mostly unfinished and it's only heated by the ducts that happen to run through it. Hollis is 26-months-old and she walks great on the floor. The only thing I would do differently is put on a semi-gloss finish instead of satin. I used satin because the floors are over 100-years-old and there are quite a few irregularities.
