So here is a entry for a online Ukulele contest that I entered.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-qDKnVYHQQ

I got the tab off the internet and was titled "Comanche", BUT I listened to Comanche and that is not it, so I was wondering if any of you guys know what the title of the song is. I had never realized how hard on an instrumental to find out who played it and what it was called.

Thanks,

db

Doug: Can't help you with

Doug:

Can't help you with the song title. Sorry.

But here's a link to a YouTube video by Ed's Redeeming Qualities, the only band I ever liked that featured a ukelele.

No idea

But it's familiar, and I can't for the life of me place it.

Seriously, how hard is it to play the uke?

Easy!!

I think it is a great instrument for Dads because it is easy to learn, portable, and it gives you a lot of flexibility to grow, plus it doesn't have a lot of stigma attached to it so you can play what ever you want on it Hawaiian, kids music, classical, Tin Pan Alley, and of course HEAVY METAL!!! I can steer you towards a bunch of great sites that have free lessons, offer a bunch of advice on types, and help you find a ukulele group in your area or help you start one. Playing has really changed my life, this is the first instrument I have played since piano in grade school, but being able to play Old MacDonald for the kids pre-school classes has been AWESOME!!! Of course I could go on and on...

hmmm

Matt,

Are you talking about "Losing My Religion"? I know it had mandolins in it. I'm not crazy about that song. I know they used banjo in some early stuff, which is the stuff I like.

That's right...

Yeah. Losing My Religion is the only song they play mandolin on.
