Barely two years old at the time, I got my son to hold his breath underwater for maybe 5 seconds at at time. A friend captured the shot with a disposable, underwater camera.

totally cool
That's cool. And a great photo!
My son is 6, has done swim lessons and still won't put his head under.

Keep it up
Keep up the good work while they are young. I had swimming lessons when I was about 12, and I was way too old. I hated putting my head under, and still won't today without a swim mask. I absolutely hate getting my eyes under water, even in the shower. I wish my swim lessons would have started earlier.
Love the Pic
That is an awesome picture! I love those kind of pics...wish my cam would take those. But somehow the digital doesn't like being underwater, go figure.

Kids & swimming
This is such a kick-a** picture. My 8yo still struggles to even blow bubbles in the water! Totally keep it up-water is an amazing thing, kids should not fear it!!
GREAT PHOTO
As a former professional photographer, I have to say great photo. Underwater photos are so cool and most people don't ever take any except of fish while snorkeling/scuba diving etc, so good job.
As a s@hd, I have to say, great job with the little one and the water training. Well done on both fronts!
