My name is Matthew Butler and I live in Middle Village, NY which is in Queens. I'm looking for some fellow NYC dads to possibly hang with or set up a playdate or something just to get me out of the house. I have a 3 year old daughter Lily and we are planning on having another child very soon. So it looks as though I'll be at home for quite some time. I play rugby in my spare time with the Brooklyn Barons. I'm one of the founding members of the club as well as Vice President/Recruiting Director. So between my daughter and rugby I'm a fairly busy guy. Like I said I would love to get out of the house a little more often so if you're in NYC please don't hesitate to contact me.

It's good to see a fellow rugby player and someone so willing to shoot the boot! I see you still remember a classic rugby song. I have forgotten a lot of them since my college days. Thanks for the welcome and I'll talk to you soon.

NY, NJ, it's all the same, right?

I'm on the other side of the river, but am always looking to take the kids into the city. Believe it or not, we've been here for a year and only been to the city once, with kids, none without. Perhaps with the proper motivation, we'll come in more often.

My oldest gets out of school in a few weeks - then we'd love to come in (3 & 7) and play in the park or such. drop me a line.

Tried to "join" the facebook group without success.
