I am almost afraid to ask, but how was the 190 North show last night? I had a show at 2nd city so I could not attend the DNO or see the airing of the show.
I thought it went over OK. A couple people emailed me. Mostly folks who read my SAH column, and almost all of the replies were positive. There was one lady who wrote into the newspaper with this comment:
"Ok, I saw the stay at home dad on TV. I wondered why he did not show BOTH sons. Well, to each his own. If he wants to be a stay at home dad so be it. I was in your Sunday June 8th article about green cleaning schools. I am a working mom, but never debuted on national TV shows. I'm not really starved for attention, though."
Well, both of my boys were on the show. I guess she wanted me to be feeding the baby a bottle while pushing my 2-y-o on the swings. Oh wait, I was doing exactly that!
A woman just came up to me at the park today and asked if I was on 190 north. She said that she recognized me from seeing me around. She told me that she watches the show every week and gave us props for having a dads group.
So, regardless of my opinion, was it was good for us?
