My daughter, Amelia, turned 1 yesterday. We had a great party for her and she loved her cake and all her presents. She's a great kid and much more highly motivated to crawl, cruise, climb, walk, talk, gesture, etc. than my son was at this age. She's amazing to watch!
That's great! Congrats! Our daughter also did everything faster than both of our boys. I think it's a girl thing (although not always, I know there are boys out there that went faster than the girls...just didn't happen for us). Enjoy all the new and exciting things that are going to happen!
