Gents,
Lollapalooza is next Fri-Sunday at Grant Park. Kids under 10 get in free and they have kids activities and a music stage open from 11-4 each day.

Is anyone going with or without the kids on any day? Friday might be the best day to take kids since the crowds shouldn't be too bad. Jeff Tweedy plays at the Kid stage at 2:30 that day., although there's no way James will make it that long.
Here's a link to the schedule of all the stages, including the kids stage.

My brother-in-law is coming in from CA for all 3 days, so I'm going to go at some point. Let me know if you're interested!

Kidzapalooza updates
My wife's going to Friday and Sunday with the kids, mainly so she can see Rogue Wave and Jeff Tweedy on the Friday and the John Butler Trio and Perry Farrell on the Sunday on the Kidzapalooza stage. I am sadly stuck at home in Oz, working, while they enjoy their US holiday and boy, am I jealous! The line up on the kids stage looks great according to the Kidzapalooza site (http://www.kidzapalooza.com). Having spent my college years in the US, I attended a few Lollapaloozas in my time - just glad the kids will get to experience it as well. I guess I'll just have to make do with seeing the photos.
Hide the kids!
Slash is going to make an appearance at Kidzapalooza according to Perry Farrell on the WGN morning news. Apparently he has kids and is bringing them to the fest.
Davieque- Welcome to the Chicagodads group. How did you find us?
Cheers,
Jim
