wondering if anyone has particular thoughts about cuil.

BRING BACK THE IRRELEVANCE!!!!
Tried doing a few searches on there. It looks more like a page from Amazon with product reviews than search results. It is interesting that Goole picks up one of my blogs in the top ten results while Cuil manage to skip over it in favor of results for places advertising DVDs, etc. for my subject. So much for content.

It is different. I'll take it for another test drive in a week or three, but so far I ain't buying it. (as in going for it-I know it's free!) Someone mentioned somewhere along the line that, like a new restaurant, give at least half a chance after it first opens its doors to work out the kinks. Seems like a fair enough thing to do. But, I'll agree, Google is king for a reason. The one thing I like about cuil, is the searches aren't saved and passed along to anyone. (advertisers, government, ect.- at least not yet.) At least that's what I've heard. As far as the name? cuil? uh...kewl? cool or uncool? Are they trying to be cooler than cool? What is cool? Do they get to define that? I don't think so.
