I totally dropped off the map and became a mommyblogger. I'll turn in my man-badge :}

I can't go for that. No can do.
I've had one massage in my life, Swedish, I think it was, and I really enjoyed it, even though i would have preferred a woman (of any sort, young or old, hot or not) to the middle-aged guy who put his hands on my back. But it sure was relaxing.
But seeing as I have almost no hair on my head, and no desire to have my hands dipped in anything other than a quickly melting pint of mint chip ice cream, or my toenails polished so they shine like pretty diamonds, I'm gonna steer clear of the Man Spa.
Call me old-fashioned, or prudish or just afraid of the female side that Pete Townshend tells me I have, but it just ain't my bag. Make that backpack.

Sounds like fun. I ventured into a man spa one day and found it to be more like going to Hooters with chicks putting on an act to make a few bucks from horny guys. That may be great for some guys, but I'd rather go to a more professional salon if I'm going to shell out some cash.
For now I still get my hair cut at a barber shop run two middle-aged women with posters of Ted Nugent and deer heads on the walls. I have been thinking of checking out the massage school advertised in the local paper since they have cheap massages by their students.
As for the dipping and blow, I'll leave that to my wife :-)

There is nothing like watching a little orential sweating while deskinning my heals. Then massaging my calf muscles while my wife sits next to me and all the other moms getting their nails done. I even took one of my daughters to get her nails done before her first communion. I don't care who is doing my hair as long as it's done right and they trim my eyebrows.
If it feels good.....

Had my hands done once. Felt good, but I don't have "soft paws" so it wasn't helpful.

Just don't let them call you that m-word* anymore.
I won a massage at a salon one time. Twas truly incredible -- pretty girl with magic fingers. Aaahhhh. Actually, going to the massage school is a good idea from what I hear: better pricing and they try their hardest, since they don't have that diploma yet. I might head that way myself sometime. But a good massage really is worth the money.
And just in case you haven't seen this clip about manicures:
