Just a quick tip for you guys. I picked up a Roomba robot vacuum a few weeks back from Woot.com for about $100. I figured it was worth the chance at that price. I have to say I've been very impressed and it has helped out a bit in the chores department.

We have hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining area, main hallway, and foyer; so with two busy adults and four cats things can get dirty pretty quick. When ever I am vacuuming, usually twice a week since the baby arrived, I unleashed the Roomba on the wood floors while I take care of the carpet. It does a pretty good job and saves me a lot of time; which is precious now. It does well on the carpet too, but with all the cats and knowing that my daughter will be crawling around soon I know the regular vacuum can do a more thorough job.

I wish...

If I got one of those I would have to buy a helmet for my two year old. Because he would be riding it around the house laughing his little butt off!! Hmmmm... maybe I will get one

Love mine!

We have a long haired dog (and I have a long haired wife). This seems to be the older Roomba's big weakness. I need to clean the brush out after every run through the house, or it just doesn't do a very good job the next run.

Other than that hassle, I dig the Roomba.
