Hello all. Brand new to the site and this is my first post. I am a SAHD to a horrible little 4 year old boy...................OK, just thought I would be different. He truly is a wonderful bundle of joy and amazement. But I am sure that too many first time posters start out the same.

I hate doing the introduction post, never know what to say but I never want the post to be too short. Like I said, he is 4 I am 30. My hobbies include...uhhhhh....wait I used to have hobbies. OK when I have the time my hobbies include working on my pet related website at www.journeyoftheanimals.com, reading and playing some video games. I am a testicular cancer survivor so now you can just call me lefty. Also if you can not tell already, I am .....a little different.

I think I will end this here for now and go check out some of the other post. If there is anything you want to know then please just ask.

LOL! Funny. Welcome to the site...we're all a little different here so you're in good company. Glad to have you here guy! I'm David, 43, have 3 monsters that I wouldn't trade for anything (boy 11, girl 8, and boy 3). Hope to talk to you on here often!

Welcome to the site. I'm 43, have a six-year-old boy and a 15-month-old girl. Been doing this since my son was born.

Where are you located? Good to know, so maybe you can get together with somebody on this site in some way other than virtually.

Get together in some way other then virtually? Hmmm I have not done that in ....over 4 years as long as you do not count family. But I am from Minnesota.

Welcome to the site! There are lots of local AHD groups across the country. Many of them use this site as a home base in the "local groups" section.

Meeting (in person) with some dads in the same boat makes a big difference. The guys from this Minnesota site looked like they were linked to athomedad.org but now the link is closed.

PS- The convention in Sacramento this November is also a great way to meet other AHDs.

Thank you. Might as well check it out. As far as the convention, no way I could attend unless I walked there and I do not think I would make it in time. :)
