Working Women with Stay-At-Home Fathers Study

Here is another study request from the folks at the University of Texas. It's by Dr. Aaron Rochlen, who has done some good research on at-home dads and participates on this site. This one is for your wives. Have her help out if she can.

They are looking for full-time working women with a husband who stays at home? with the children. This study is intended to highlight information regarding the roles of? working women with stay-at-home fathers (WWWSAF), and how women adjust to ?that role. It should take about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Here is the link to the survey:

I will suggest it to my wife...

I've participated in Dr. Rochlen's research and had the opportunity to meet him at last year's convention. Great guy. I really enjoyed meeting him and hearing about his research.

I am eager to hear how the other half thinks! I know how my wife feels. At least I think I do! She rocks and I know she feels the same about me. Doesn't have high demands...or doesn't seem to anyway. She's not, nor has she ever been a very high maintenance person, if you know what I mean. She will be a great asset to Dr. Rochlen's research for sure!

Survey down?

I haven't checked in a while but the original post is only one week old. Any info on whether the survey is complete would be appreciated -- my wife would do it.

I will check. More to

I will check. More to come.

I'm told that they have all

I'm told that they have all of the responses that they need, so they're not collecting any more data for the time being. There's a chance that they'll want more at some point in the future. If that happens, I'll repost this notice.

thanks

Thanks everyone, for the support on this latest project. I really appreciate you all spreading the word. It should be pretty interesting and I hope to post a summary of these results most likely in March/April 2009. I am working on another publication right now. Anyone who is interested can download a summary at:

All the best to you and your families,
