My two month old is a very messy eater (earning the name "Milk Face"). An unfortunate result is, I know of no other way to describe it, neck cheese: the white gunk under the skin rolls of her neck. The question is how to gently get at that fromage without being too rough. She has excellent neck control making it difficult to get her to tilt her head back. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.
Cleaning Neck Cheese

I grab my daughter's chin with my thumb and index finger as if I'm palming her face, then use a damp towel/paper towel/etc. to wipe it off. It gets easier after a few months when the folds aren't so bad.

Seriously? I thought they only did stuff like that in Hollywood or on the Neverland Ranch but if it works for you... I think I'd rather have her cry than try to hold on to only those wiggly, kicking feet while trying to get at her neck one handed.

We used the same description for our boys.
We try to stop the dribble before it gets to the fat rolls. Tuck a cloth diaper under the chin or lay her on her side on top of the diaper when you feed her, it limits the damage. As far as cleaning I find distraction works for everything but orajel appliction, then you may have to get physical.
