I just saw it yesterday for the first time and thought I would share it.
I have been busier than usual trying to teach my son respect and not to hit your friends. My son received his first schoolwide award and I caught it on digi-tape and posted it to my MHD Blog link below. I was so proud it happened in his first three months and he acts like he knew all along and played the whole thing cool.
There is nothing that matches the feeling of seeing your kid acknowledged at school!

Last year my youngest had trouble behaving himself at school, too much energy for kindergarten apparently. This year, he was Coyote of the Month at his school (Coyote Ridge). We are SOOOOOO proud of him!
But I'm still not putting a bumper sticker on my car.
Making it look difficult. Living the dream.

How's this for the best dad ever award, put the awards cermony on the calendar, and when the evening came we all got dressed up, drove down to the school and the only people that were there were the cleaning folks, yeah it was 7:30 in the morning. So she got ice cream instead of an awards banquet, now that I think about it I think we were all winners.
