Hello Everyone,

My name is Craig Robertson and I am a "brand new" SAHD.  My wife and I just recently made the decision that I was going to stay at home with our three year old, Landon.  I have been in the work force for the last 15 years in various sales and sales-type positions; so this is a pretty big change for me.....but a welcome one.  We decided to do this mainly for two reasons: 1. to save the money from day-care (almost $700 per month) 2. my desire for a career change.  We also have four other children that are 5, 10, 14 and 16 that I will be keeping (the 16 year old will be helping me :-) ) over the summer to save yet more child care costs.  I am glad that I am getting to spend quality time during the day with Landon....but again this is a BIG change.  It is working well so far though.  I'm here just to connect with other dads in the same position and also hope to meet other SAHD's in the Garner or Triangle area of NC (Garner, Raleigh, Clayton...etc.)  Look forward to meeting you!!!
