So... what did everyone do for Mother's Day?
What did you do for Mother's day?
Matt and I went to Provo, Utah for the NCAA Men's Volleyball Final Four. Left Thursday and returned home on Sunday.
Tina had the house all to herself and she loved it. No kids and no horny husband to deal with for four days.
Called my mom and mother-in-law and mailed them a card.

Mothers Day and our Wedding Anniversary fall on the same day, so it was an interesting day. I made her breakfast (cheesy eggs, home fries, and country gravy.), then we did presents. (It was the "Styrofoam" anniversary, according to the joke card she got me last year. We decided it would be fun to follow it) I got quaker rice-cakes, three flavors (she though they would at least taste like syrofoam.) She got one of those styr-coolers with a book on knitting and some slim-jims.
Church followed, then I took our daughter out garden-shopping while my wife made bagels. We called Mom, Great-Grandma, Sister, and Aunt.

We celebrated on Saturday with the brother and sister and their spouses since the brother had to go to his in-laws on Sunday. The guys did all the cooking, which we do every year on Mother's Day. For my wife this wasn't a big deal since I do almost all of the cooking all year long. For the Rest of the ladies in my family this is always a treat since their guys don't do much of the cooking. On the actual day the kids gave mom the presents they had made individually and a digital photo frame that I bought for them to give to her colectively. We're going on a 2 night away trip to Cedar Point (just the 2 of us) as my gift to her.

There's a broadway production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? Sweet! I've always loved that movie.
