Since the weather reports forecasts rain in the morning, we'll meet at the Garfield Park Conservatory. It's located at 300 N. Central Park Ave., at the corner of Central Park and Lake streets. The CTA Green line stops right at Central Park if you're taking public transportation. Otherwise there's free parking adjacent to the building.

We usually meet in the children's play area in the rear of the building. There's an infant area, and the older kids can play on the indoor slide or wander around. Sometimes the staff have an activity planned for kids. Not too much going on, so it's pretty low key and good for guys to converse.

If it happens to be nice outside, there is a lovely area outdoors with paths and small hills the kids can run to.
