'09 Convention Registration Open!

The website is now updated and registration is now open for the 14th Annual At Home Dads Convention.

Many thanks to all of the LinOma Dads and Convention Planning Committee for all of the hard work!  Here are some other updates and information on the 14th:

Kudos to Dayv Glusing, Al Watts, and Brian Chalmers for the hard work on the look, content, and presentation of the website.  I think it looks great!  Check it out at www.athomedadconvention.com.

I had a phone interview with a reporter from Time Magazine for a possible story about the convention..keep fingers crossed. 

I started a Facebook group for the convention and have already sent out some invitations to my FB friends.  For all of you on FB, check it out at http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=101759075587.  Just another way to try reach as many dads as possible.

Looking forward to October 10 in Omaha...a lot of work left, but I can't say enough about how the local LinOma dads group has worked, discussed, and enjoyed this project.  Thanks guys!   Unfortunately, I had to miss tonight's "sampling" of another Omaha steak restaurant for "research" :-(

SHOOT! We forgot to add that on the registration form. We'll get that fixed soon, but in the meantime, if you register, slide your athomedad screen name somewhere under your email address on the form.

The man, the myth, the legend

Hey other Dads, do not confuse me with the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Mike Biewenga!

Once labeled Mike B. you are always a Mike B.

And Brian, yes that was a great ice breaker when walking into a room of unfamiliar faces and soon to be buds!
Is the legendary Mike B. going to make an appearance this year?  He has to be about too, or through toilet training.  Snick, I mean his newer kid!

Hey Gents,

It just now dawned on me that I may have forgotten to add my screename to my reg form that's now in the mail.  Philip, if your mailbox is not yet overwhelmed, could you see to it that is included?  It's about 70-30 that I forgot.  It should be there in a day or 3.
