Hi, I'm a stay-at-home dad of 3 boys (ages 7 year, 5 years and 3 months) and part time pro-photographer.  Wanted to join a group specifically related to Stay-At-Home dads so that I can actually be able to talk to other SAHDs.  Some of the dad-only sites are great, but you get quite a few obnoxious working dads who can't relate to a SAHD's situation and think we're lazy for staying at home and taking care of our children instead of going out in the work force. 

My SAHD role was forced onto me by an severe back injury I suffered 3 years ago which also forced me to reconsider my job options too (it essentially forced me into a job I love;  I said if I'm going to keep forcing my back regardless of my injury, I'm going to do something I love doing). 

I'm in an interracial marriage; I'm Japanese-Canadian, my wife is Irish/French American and as such, sometimes, us Japanese-Canadians are pretty strict with our children; sometimes that cultural difference kind of ruffles her feathers because she's a little more lenient with the children than I am.
