All Kids Now in School- Full time to Part time AHD, SAHD, etc.

Wondering for those of you who made, or are making the transition from a full-time dad to part-time, now that all the kids are in school how you spent, or are spending you new (or old) found freedom while the kids are in school for part of the day.

My Plan I Hope

My plan I hope that while my twins are in school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays is that I will probably start becoming more diligent at going to the health club that we belong to and working out.  It is something that I have needed to do however, I have been extremely lax on it while I have be working on attending play group with my son (who was not in preschool until this September) and other things that have distracted me.  Once both of my kids are in school full time, my plan is to go back to school full time and finally earn my degree so that I may finally find a decent paying career that I will hopefully be happy in that ideally will have the flexibilty to allow me to be able to work while my twins are in school and home when they are not.

Nap Time

I'm gonna take a 6-hour nap each day for year. Maybe I'll catch up on that sleep I have/will miss over the 12 years (wow is it going to be that long!).

At the suggestion of Mr. Chalmers in a prior thread on the subject, I volunteer in my son's class.

Change work schedules

the work that I've been doing on evenings and weekends will now be done while the kids are in school.  I clean apartments complexes.  I vaccuum the hallways and common areas and clean the windows (and fight spiders).  I've been looking for some extra contracts since it takes about 10-12 hours to complete currently.  Things are kind of slow trying to find extra work.  Since I will have a few more evenings and weekend hours freed up, I've decided to start giving drum set lessons to make some extra cash to pay for my addiction to sports.

My youngest starts all-day, everyday KG in about eight days.  This will be the first time in 9 plus years that I won't have a kid home with me at some point of the day.  Until October, I've got plenty to keep me busy with the convention around the corner.  I'm also going to try to get out and ride the bike to get in shape.
