Hey guys –

This is just another invitation for you to apply for registration fee assistance to the Annual At Home Dad’s Convention in Omaha.  All you do to apply for help is to drop me a quick email making the request, and I will enter your name in the scholarship drawing.  If your name is selected at random, your registration fee will be paid from the Brian Dickson Scholarship fund.  It is that easy.  So far, nobody has applied!

I also want to make a pitch for you to reconsider going, if you have tentatively decided not to attend the convention.  The convention is a really good place to encounter guys from all over the country who do what you do, and to get a sense of what issues they encounter elsewhere.  Besides that, there are breakout sessions at the convention where a LOT of information is exchanged, and for what it is worth, I have always learned something helpful from each session I have attended.

I will admit to being a newby so far as conventions are concerned, having only been to three, but I am planning on being in Omaha, and hope you are able to be there too!
