I live in Naperville. Once the fall starts I will probably be rejoining a weekly playgroup in my neighborhood of 8 other moms once a week. Are there any dads that would want to meet in the Naperville area? I always feel like the women wish I wasnt there and that they would be talking about other things if I didn't show up. Thanks!

I feel you. My wife went to a postpartum group and the moms said they wouldn't mind me coming to a playgroup but I felt a bit out of place when I showed up. I grew up in Naperville but am now in the city. If I hear of any SAHD friends out your way I'll let them know about the site and your playgroup offer.

thanks man. i wish i knew about this group when i had my first daughter when we lived in the city. it sounds like a neat thing. whenever i went to the parks and zoo i would be the only dad there. its so funny how i always see these stories about how there are so many stay at home dads now a days and everytime i go somewhere, i'm always the only one there. do you like staying home?
