I am wondering if anyone is familiar with the Econo Lodge Downtown Omaha.  <P>

I am registering for the convention now, but will be coming without the family so I am looking for

a hotel for just myself.  I will be driving to Omaha.<P>

Courtyard by Marriott

Chad,

Courtyard by Marriott is our convention partner and a pretty good rate for downtown.  I would recommend staying away from the Econolodge.  I know some people who recently stayed there and were not happy.  The convention website has the discount details for the Courtyard  www.athomedadconvention.com Your also getting free parking, free breakfast, and free shuttle to downtown/Old Market areas.  I recently stayed at the Doubletree and got nailed for high parking fees and expensive breakfast. 

If your looking for a roommate to share costs, I think Robb from Omaha is still looking for someone to share a suite with.  Email me if you're interested in that and I can pass it on to Robb.
