On Wednesday, the Pasadena, California SAHD's group met at a local park. There was a forest fire that had started the night before about 12 miles east, but we weren't terribly worried about it. After an hour at the park, a Pasadena official came by and advised us to leave the park due to air quality warnings from the fire and warm temperatures that day. Definitely a strange way to end playgroup!

Curiously, there were 3 other dads at the park not affiliated with our group and only a couple moms (who left before the officials showed up). It was a good recruiting day for the playgroup if nothing else!
