Convention '09 Coming up quick!

Guys,

If you haven't made your hotel arrangements for Omaha, please do ASAP (as in now!).  I am meeting with the Courtyard on Thurs 9/17 and may have to release our block back to the hotel.  It is a very busy weekend in Omaha with a number of large events downtown.  Don't be left out and scrambling.  If you haven't sent in your registration or payment and are planning on coming, please email me and let me know.  I am also meeting with the Upstream Brewery and would like a fairly solid number for the Saturday dinner.  All the convention information can be found at www.athomedadconvention.com and you can email me at ptandrew2000@yahoo.com

One week to go!

Just one more week to go before the convention!

There's still time to get your registration in (I can say that because Phil's handling that and not me - hee, hee!). Several local dads have booked extra rooms, so ask about getting a roommate when you register because, as Phil mentioned above, there are probably no other rooms left at the Convention Hotel.

The program is jam-packed with sessions that will help you be an even better at-home dad. Check out the website below and make sure you don't miss out!

Great Convention!!!!

I'm sitting here at the airport waiting for my flight home, a little tired, but so grateful for the time I spent here in Omaha.  A huge thank you goes out to all the convention planners who worked their butts off to put on a truly great program, the hospitality of all those in the Linoma Dads were great.   But most importantly, the guys that attended the convention need to be thanked as well for showing up and making the convention great.  After all, without the guys attending, there would be no convention.  And thanks to all the dads that helped all the new dads that came out, and for even helping some of the "repeat offenders" because occasionally, we need help too. 

It was great seeing old friends, it was great meeting new ones, and I'm already looking forward to next year in Omaha!!
