Guys,

I was contacted by a researcher doing a survey on gender affects on life and thought that passing it on here would help.  This is a legit study and is being overseen by Dr. Joel Wong who worked with Dr. Rochlen on his masculinity study that many of us participated in a few years back.

We are inviting you to participate in a research project to understand individuals' personal experience of what it means to be a man or a woman. Your participation in this project will contribute to a better understanding of men and women's gender meaning-making experiences. To qualify for this project, you need to be at least 18 years old.

Your participation involves responding to an online survey that will take approximately 30 - 45 minutes to complete. The survey includes questions about your gender-related experiences. For example, you will be asked to complete the sentence, "As a man..." (for men) or "As a woman..." (for women) ten times.
To thank you for your participation, you will be given the opportunity to enter a draw for one of four $50 cash awards after completing the survey. At the end of the survey, we also provide information on how you may obtain a summary of the aggregate research findings from this project.
