We're long overdue for one of these gatherings. For those not familiar, it's simply an excuse to get out of the house sans kids and have some adult conversation. We usually pick a neighborhood pub or restaurant on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evening. Beer is usually involved! 
I just heard about a new gaming lounge called IgniteNetwork. Anyone into a cheap night of video games?

I am new to the area and excited to meet other dads who are home with their kids (translation = desperate for a night OUT away from kids with other guys!). This place looks awesome and would definitely want to go if you guys do a Dads Night Out there.

that ignite place looks suspiciously beerfree? I don't need more screentime but I could definitely go for some beer & conversation and if there is a game on in the background that's ok.
did you notice there is something new in the old ftb place? maybe we should check it out?
Poker?
If we could find a place to do a poker night I think that would be a lot of fun. Nothing big. Maybe just a cash game (like $1 ante) or small buy in (maybe $10 or something like that). I don't think I have a big enough place (or a basement) but would be happy to volunteer an extra table and some chairs.
There's also a ton of good bars in Lincoln Square and a great place, Ms. Murphy and Sons, that has a great beer, whiskey, and scotch selection plus good food.

OK, maybe not necessarily both in the same night, but I would be game for either (pun intended).
