Have responsibility for my three year old boy while my wife is away (Wed. through Saturday).
Luckily two of those days are full-day day care (Wed and Friday) but I didn't
know if anyone had creative ideas on things to do together Thursday and in
the evenings. Live in western central NJ.

Keep toddler occupied
I have a 2 year old girl. She loves to color in her coloring books with me (use washable crayons), finger paint, make things with playdoh, and have me read to her. We call this "school" and she screams with joy when I say "Its time for school!" (I dont know how long that will last) Being that its winter in the Northeast, you may look online for indoor facilities nearby which offer play rooms for toddlers or take him to the mall and just walk around and show him stuff. Pet shops are a great place for kids. Libraries usually have story times for kids as well. Youre his teacher, so use the time wisely. I find that they LOVE to learn.
