Ever since we started trying to conceive, I've taken a personal inventory of the things I love to do in preparation for sparking some creativity or passion in my own kid. I'm really into a lot of things and plan on exposing my kid to all of them.

Guitar

Coin collecting

Fishing

Woodworking

Baseball

Road trips/adventuring

Reading (of course)

Target shooting and safety (at the appropriate age)

I was curious as to what everyone else's hobbies are and what things you looked forward to teaching your kids?

My Love Of Sports

With my twins I am doing my best to instill my love of watching my professional sports teams and if they are interested in playing the games as well, supporting their efforts.  My son is now playing hockey and to support his dream and desire to play, I am actually taking lessons and playing myself.  Both my son and daughter did soccer at the end of last summer and my daughter does not show athletic ability at this point however, she does like to dance around and we have put her into a dance class.  As they get older I may work on coin collecting or something similar, camping because that is something that the wife loves and who knows what else we'll develop as they get a bit older.

Artistic abilities

I've really tried to help one of the twins, Sarah, to persue her artistic abilities. When I was younger, I would pull out a comicbook and just draw, and she has that talent. I'm really hoping that she follows it into a professional career.

Jennifer I'm not sure about, she likes to doodle but also likes to right and do word puzzles so I'm not sure about her yet.

The youngest loves dance (they all do) but to soon to tell with her.
