I gotta say a few months ago I wasn't real keen on this whole at home Dad thing, actually up until yesterday realy. Now I am just realy getting into this, after I got over the whole inadequesy and pride thing, this is the shit. I get to do what I want when I want (according to a 4 month olds schedule of course). I took my daughter for our first walk today, I walked she rode she's only 4 months old, and I absolutely loved it and she did too, I think. I am realy getting excited over the fact that I can raise my daughter the way I want her to be, and that I can be part of every facet of her day, I never thought it possible to love another person as much as I do her it's truely amazing. As a man who worked full time my whole life, then I had a major carreer change at 35, and now this at home Dad thing at 37, wow what changes. But I have to say that this change is by far the best one yet, I still work part time but its only 3 days a week as a nurse, but I call the AHD thing my real job when people ask!!!

Just when I think things are going smooth someone makes a comment or asks what do you do when I say well that's the thing what do I say to that. It gets to be where my wife I feel limits where we go to avoid these questions. Its difficult to except for me sometimes that this is the situation but I have to accept and be proud and enjoy this time I have with my sons because it does pass so fast My oldest son Cody is 14 now and as tall as me.
