Hi Dads:

Good Monday morning to you all!  With a new week comes a new day for Daddyshome, our national nonprofit by and for you, the stay at home and primary care father!   Today we have launched our new website, take a look and see what’s there; http://www.daddyshome.org .  The site is still being developed and expanded, but we wanted to launch it and get it up and moving for all to see.  I’m sure there will be some small items that we need to fix and expand along the way, but the site is a great site and one we feel will provide a great deal of useful information for at home dads and primary care fathers to do their jobs.

I need to thank a few people who without their help and dedication this effort would not be possible.  Al Watts, the organization’s vice-president and the driving force behind the site.  Al has been the lead on getting the site up and helping to provide the content for the site.  We also could not have the website without the efforts, skill and patience of Bob Boisvert, our webmaster and developer.  Bob was very patient with Al and myself who are website challenged, but boy do we have the ideas!  Bob was great and I feel he has built a 1st class website.  I also want to thank Shannon Carpenter who has agreed to be our blog editor, another job that is so helpful to all of here at Daddyshome and you as well.  There are other folks who have helped along the way and it would take a couple days and several pages to thank them all, but a few standouts are; Mike Bates, Hogan Hilling, and all the board members of Daddyshome, a huge thanks to all.
