Just joined but have been an @home dad since 1996. Since 2005 been divorced with a teenager living at home. If that's not a challenge I don't know what is.

I've revolved my life around the @home concept. Have a home based business, so I'm here 90% of the time, don't have to get persmission to get off work to attend functions or just be here.

In the final stretch as she is going to be a senior next year. She will be turn 18 in November and it will be nice to travel, and do other things.

As a veteran @homer, I'm excited to contribute and help those that are new at this.

so sorry!

I just joined yesterday, and noticed this evening that nobody ever responded to your new member introduction. What a welcome, only six weeks late! I sure hope my intro isn't ignored for so long, ha!

Anyways, happy to hear that things are working out well for you now. I'm curious-- what are your feelings about your upcoming "retirement" from the SAHD life?

Me too!

Welcome and keep us informed.  Am very interested if you plan to go back to work, also you can be a big help to others. Welcome.

What took you so long to get here?

Nice to see another at-home dad vet join the group.  Came out of the pantry in 1991.  Three boys 22, 20 and 17

If you can, attend this year's At-Home Dad Convention on October 2nd in Omaha, Ne.

Keep On Daddying
