Just wanted to say hi to all the Dads on here. I've been a SAHD for over 5 years now. When we decided to have a baby it really wasn't a hard decision for me to stay home. My wife is a pharmacist and I was working at an insurance company. Her making 3x the pay made it clear what we had to do as a family. Well, i've had some ups and downs, and growing pains if you will. But i'm really glad to be here everyday for my son. After this summer he will be going into full time kindergarten. I'm not sure just yet what I will be doing with myself while he is gone all day, lol. Though now my wife is really talking about another baby. It scares me a little to have to do it "all over again" But I think we will manage when the time comes. Anyway that's my story, and i'm glad to be here.

Welcome to the Club

Not worried about your ability to take care of the kids, so you just have another one to take care of.  You've already done it, so you know what to expect.  If you were in insurance maybe there's a way to get back in it part time. Have another child and keep your profession.
