I don’t want to read about missing children and predatory paedophiles
I just don’t want to read about the heartache

I don’t want to hear eyewitness accounts of massacres and failed rescues
I don’t want to hear about brothers drowning in a desperate thrashing embrace

I don’t want to see wailing mothers and screaming fathers
