any one have tips for rinsing a two year old's hair? Mine cries like a banshee whenever we try. We've tried getting her to tip her head back by "howling at the moon" but she just howls bloody murder. We've also tried getting in the bath with her, letting her pour water on us, getting her to blow bubbles so she gets used to water on her face, all to no avail.
Suggestions?
One of my three was similar. It changed over time but I think I tried talking to him and letting him decide how he wanted it done. It was one of those "this is GOING TO HAPPEN, how do you want it to happen?" talks. I think I gave him a few choices, the easy way or the hard way:
Of course there is door #4 which includes earplugs for you and bucket of water on her head. I call that "the hard way" :) From what I remember it was a control issue for ours and he wanted to do it himself. I know how crazy that stuff drives you, me, all of us....

My son is four and hates to wash his hair to.
I have found two solutions that work, Sometimes.
1. Have your child lay down and cover their eyes with a dry washcloth.
Use a cup to pour water over hair, keeping it out of his eyes.
2. Have them stick their head under the faucet, My son likes this method some of the time.
If all else fails, like stated before use earplugs.
