Update on Omaha (site of this year's at-home dad's convention)

Some who attended the convention last year were perplexed by the fact that the bars in Omaha (site of this year's convention again) closed at 1am (earliest in the U.S.). Well, you are all in for a thrill! The Omaha city council has seen the error of it ways and has extended the closing hour to 2am.

That's right, 2am!

More time to enjoy with new friends made in Omaha before heading back to the real world ;)

I'll drink to that

I'm still in mourning about Liam not being there this year.

Still recovering from car accident in February.  Lost my taste for alcohol and foods I ate before. Really sucks.

It's been weird not having any desire to have a cold beer.  I really miss it.  I do manage to force a drink or two down once in a while.  Hopefully by October I'll have my taste for alcohol back and take advantage of that extra hour.
