Hello AHD.org!

I thought I'd register and say hi, since I've been stalking these forums for a couple weeks now.

Quick About Me: My wife is 27 weeks pregnant with our first joint child (I have an 11 year old from a previous relationship, she has no prior children), and our situation worked out to allow me to be the primary at-home parent.

I feel very gifted to be in a situation like this, where I don't have to contribute financially in order for our family to be comfortable. I would much rather contribute in other ways. Dinner, laundry, keeping the lawn green and trimmed, etc. I'm a big fan of keeping life simple and as stress-free as possible.

I like AHD.org the best of all the at-home-dad sites I've found so far. The community seems fantastic. Humorous, intelligent (for the most part) and extremely helpful and supportive. I can't wait to become a part of it.
