La Pintoresca is a great park in NW Pasadena that has 3 play structures, a library, AND a concrete area with an assortment of sprinkler devices that splash hot kids. What more does a kid need? There are also benches in the shade next to the sprinkler. What more does a dad need?

The water play area doesn't turn on until 11am. Bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen for the kids. There is also a skateboard park, so maybe Ian can show us a few tricks.

There are usually dads at playgroup from 9:30-12:30. La Pintoresca Park's address is 45 East Washington Blvd (at the corner of Raymond Ave. and Washington Blvd.) The best place to park is east of the park on Raymond Avenue. The parking lot is for library patrons only.
