I'm a stay at home dad who has a son with a genetic disorder (prader-willi syndrome.) I have Dr. appointments left and right. My wife and I talked it over and decided that she'd work because she made more money. Our income was cut, but now getting help through the state. I'd like to supplement our income by doing something from home. If you know of any jobs or ideas to be done at home, please let me know. We'd gladly appreciate it.

A Logistical Specialist defines what material, equipment, tools, and personnel is needed for a mission, operation, task. Then the logistical specialist is part of a team that ensures that everything is ready prior to load out/departure.
Would the time as an at home dad, be therefore considered the equivalent work of a Logistical Specialist?
Obviously, John Hagee was not telling his congregation the truth about stay at home Dads. It's a different kind of work, that is all. And, none of them, are going to hell. Period. They are a hard working men. 150,000 hard working men in the United States, and who knows how many in other different countries.
What are your post stay at home dad plans? College? Work? Even if you are looking a few years out.
I took parental leave for our baby because it was the right thing to do in our situation. I was under-employed, and my wife is a student. Hopefully her education will lead to better employemnt for her as well. The parental leave time is set to expire at the same time as her schooling is finshed, in 3 weeks. I have recently found put that the company I worked for has lost their contract, and in effect no longer exists. So I am now unemployed. I have 2 questions, do I have any rights by either company here?
I was just curious if any of you sahd's do some kind of home based business to contribute to the household income? I would feel better if my kids were able to stay out of daycare, but we can't afford to live on one income. I know there's a lot of options on the internet, mostly scams, so I wanted to know if any of you do have a business that is legitimate. Thank you!
When I was making good money at my job, my fiance was working mothers' hours. I got hurt at work and had three major surgeries. Well, now she has a full time job and I'm the homemaker with 2 boys.
How do I let her know she has no home stress so she can focus on work?

I have someone who is wants to join our local at-home dads group, but in the couple of emails that he has sent me, he has let me know that he has recently gotten divorced, his wife is a you know what and he is very, very angry with her. I feel like I have to let him in to the group, and I want to give support to a AHD that is struggling , but I am concerned that he is so angry that it will bring everyone else down, and I would not want to turn the group into his "complaining about his ex" sounding board.
The only reason I made this Anonymous is on the totally outside chance that someone from my wife's work would stumble upon this, but do any of you have advice for this situation?
