Description

Some of the best smelling play dough your kids will ever play with.

Ingredients

  • 2 1⁄2 c flour
  • 1 c salt
  • 2 pk unsweetened kool-aid (color and flavor of the kool-aid determines the color and scent of the play dough)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 c boiling water

Instructions

Mix flour and salt together and then mix in everything else adding the water to the dry ingredients (no need to cook this stuff). Knead until well mixed, add extra flour if sticky.

I have not personally made this. However my mom has made tons and tons after 30 years in child care and now makes Ethans play dough for him. It turns out just as good as the store bought stuff and better. The color depends on the color of the kool-aid you use and this will also determine what it smells like and boy does it smell good. 100% safe to eat The only drawback is that it can make your hands feel a little gritty but this is just because of the salt and clears right up once you wash your hands.
