As you all know from Mike Biewenga's announcement, Daddyshome - The National At-Home Dad Network is now the new owners of this site. We are very excited about this new opportunity to help this site move forward.

All of you who are regular users of this site have been prompted to accept new terms and conditions when you logged in today; for a few of you this may be the second time in the last couple days.

I just wanted to take a minute and welcome all of the new people who have stopped by the site in the last few days.    We're glad to have you here!   Please sign up for a free account, join in the discussions and introduce yourself, find or start a local dads group, and explore the rest of the site.

We've had a lot of new traffic in the past few days, and I'm curious where it's coming from.   If you have a minute, add a comment here to let us know how you found out about us.

Based some the recent suggestions and discussion, I've reorganized the forums a bit. You can see the new categories in the discussions section (http://www.athomedad.org/forum). When you're creating a new post, please put it in the appropriate category. There is a drop-down box that's near the top of the page when you create a new topic - just choose the right category there. Or, visit the discussions page, choose a category there, then create a new topic.

Creating and maintaining this site takes a fair amount of time. It also takes money. Thus far, the time has come from my life, and the money has come from my pocket.
